The days of grunge have passed, but somebody forgot to tell the hybrid rock band Crushdown. Reviving Soundgarden-like riffs and the garbled vocals of Nirvana-laden early nineties, Crushdwon are a talented band - only they arrived on the scene about ten years too late.
Consisting of members Justin Raymond (vocals), Bruce Sonneborn (guitar), Ricky Sanders (drums), Pete Dembrowski (guitar) and Tim Benjamin (bass), the band's nucleus lies within Justin Raymond and Bruce Sonneborn. The two paired after Justin answered and ad Raymond placed in Jam Magazine and the two sparked immediately.
After long practice and song-writing sessions the duo began playing gigs, one of which caught the attention of a MCR A&R executive.

The rest of the band formed around the two initial members (both songwriters) and the result of this collaboration is Crushdown.
Like This, the band's debut release, plays off the songwriting of the two. Combining Raymond's frenzied vocals with a grunge-metal sound, Crushdown hopes to revive the genre true to their sound.
