In a music world marred by such souless acts as the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears and 'N Sync, many are finding solace in a new sound that doesn't give a f**k who steps in it's way. Radio airtime is not the objective in this new breed of musical revolution, nor is MTV rotation, soap sponsership or opening up for Celine Dion. Governing this current revolution is Kittie, Canada's own secret power-divas, who are looking to the top, and have achieved it thus far.
Call Kittie a metal act, call it a goth act, call it a glam act - just don't call it a soft act. Fans of Barry Manilow shudder at the thought of heavy riffs pulsating through darkened clubs, the only sound louder than the throbbing bass Morgan Lander's ripping vocals.

People still wonder what was in the soil which grew such frenzied, and beloved talent. Kittie was born in a 1996 highschool gym class when classmates Morgan Lander, Fallon Bowman, Talena and Mercedes Lander met and took to each other. Signing with Artemis Records in 1999, their debut record Spit was released to immediate success.
The non-conformists continue to turn heads, releasing two other successful albums, Brackish and Charlotte, and don't seem destined to slow down...
